COVID-19 StatusNOTICE: CALVERT COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY. No walk ins allowed when park gates are closed.
Please note that the pier and gate closes one hour before the park closes.

Equestrian Access. Each horse owner must obtain a free permit.

Dogs are permitted in the park, but they must be kept on a leash. Owners must pick up after their pets.
Groups of 30 or more must make reservations to either reserve a facility or schedule a naturalist-led program and pay any applicable fees.
Things To Do
A 200-foot fishing pier provides opportunity for fishing in the Patuxent River. Canoe and kayak access is also provided. Trails meander through upland forest, meadows and a boardwalk provides view of the marshes along Cocktown Creek. Picnic tables are provided in several locations. Groups may rent Tom Wisner Hall and picnic pavilions for events or activities. Overnight camping is available for organization-sponsored youth groups.

Take ROUTE 4 South into Calvert County.
From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695)
Take I-97 South to ROUTE 301 South to ROUTE 4 South.
